Kuwait Airways which commenced its Colombo Operations way back in 1972 is now operating daily direct flights. With a history of 43 years in Colombo, Kuwait Airways has been gradually expanding its services with the emerging need.

The Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Sri Lanka and the Republic of Maldives, Yaqoub Al Ateeqi said, he welcomed the daily frequency. “Relationship between Kuwait and Sri Lanka has always been friendlier and solidarity throughout the history and further we would like to strengthen the relationship between the two countries even more.
