Danish visitors seen at the Sri Lanka pavilion, going through brochures and applications, considering Sri Lanka as their next holiday destination

Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Embassy in Sweden, shared the Sri Lanka pavilion which was spread over an area of 49 sq. m, at the Danish Travel Fair which was held from 21 to 23 February, at the MCH Exhibition centre in Herning, Denmark. For the 2020 holiday fair there were 1,100 exhibitors in 13 exhibition halls, representing 45 different countries and offering travel experiences to several hundred exciting destinations.
The opening of the Sri Lanka stall was graced by Ambassador of Sri Lanka Embassy in Sweden Sudantha Ganegama Arachchi, with the lighting the oil lamp, amidst the presence of a distinguished gathering, including Market Officer for Benelux and Scandinavia Regions Danojani Weerasinghe, and respective industry participants.
The colourful Sri Lanka pavilion had quite a number of pleasant items to be showcased, and the visitors were seen enjoying the hospitality and the useful information regarding Sri Lanka as a unique travel destination, and the most attractive places they could visit when they come on their next vacation. The Sri Lankan delegation was joined by nine industry participants. They had an exclusive opportunity to connect with the Danish counterparts and strengthen their business partnerships.
The Danish Travel Show which is Scandinavia’s largest consumer holiday fair, has been taking place every year since 1998. It is an event which highlights products like travel presentations, camping, outdoor, hotel services, e-tickets, online services, spa, and wellness, etc. This is an event which is filled with dreams, dance and many other experiences.
