Aitken Spence Travels, a premier destination management company in Sri Lanka, joined forces with Sri Lanka Tourism and SLAITO to co-host the prestigious 67th TAAI Convention in Colombo from July 6 to 9. The event witnessed an impressive turnout, attracting nearly 450 agents and 50 renowned international travel media personalities.

At the forefront of shaping India’s outbound tourism, the TAAI association played a vital role in representing all key stakeholders in the Indian travel industry, including airlines, tour operators, hotels, and transport companies.

A prominent theme during the 2023 TAAI convention focused on strengthening regional tourism, which aligns seamlessly with SriLankan Airlines’ strategic regional hub approach. Given its strategic location in the Indian Ocean, SriLankan Airlines effectively connects numerous countries to the north, east, and west of India.
