Colombo Airport, Ratmalana is being developed as an international airport to accommodate more international Corporate jets and commence regional operations to South Indian destinations and Maldives. A meeting was held today (7th, March) under the leadership of the Chairman AASL, Maj. Gen. (Rtd.) G. A. Chandrasiri to review the progress of ongoing development projects with other board of directors, Heads of Division and senior officials of AASL.
The infrastructural facilities will be enhanced in the main terminal to facilitate the current domestic and future international passenger movements. The main objective of the development program is to optimise the existing resources of the airport to meet the industry demand. This development program will take Colombo International Airport to new heights in the globe.
