It’s only March but summer is on the horizon, and so are some exciting travels. Several Asian countries offer visas on arrival for Indian citizens, are far easier to get to and offer stunning locales, pristine beaches and delicious food. Here are 11 Asian countries that offer visas on arrival to Indian citizens.

Sri Lanka, Maldives, Myanmar, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Indonesia, Macau, Bhutan, Nepal, Cambodia, Laos

Sri Lanka

As the country’s economy and tourism industry recover, there is a spate of bars, restaurants and villas that are welcoming tourists from across the world. To travel to Sri Lanka, you will need their Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA)—the official online authorisation for a short visit to the country. ETA holders will be issued a 30-day Short Visit visa at the port of entry in Sri Lanka. You don’t need a flight ticket or hotel bookings to apply for an ETA; all you need is a valid passport.
