Locals and tourists are required to always carry the COVID-19 vaccination card when visiting tourist locations around the country.

The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) said that measures are underway to inspect the vaccination card at such locations, in an attempt to curtail the spread of COVID-19 in the country.

Further, the SLTDA advised people to only travel if one is fully vaccinated and those who have received only one dose of the vaccine are considered not vaccinated.
