India’s Vistara Airlines has resumed Sri Lanka flights from November 19 flying from New Delhi to Colombo, the island’s airport agency said.
Flight UK123 had landed at Katunayake airport at 1010 hours with 138 passengers as Sri Lanka re-opens for tourism.
Vistara Airlines will fly three times a week with A320NEO aircraft in business, premium economy and economy class configurations.
The airline will expand to daily operations between Delhi and Mumbai, the statement said.
Vistara Airlines is a full-service carrier.
It is a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, which started operations in January 2015.
