According to  the provisional data of Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, 69,799 tourists have arrived Sri Lanka during the first 20 days of April , pushing the year-to-date figure to 405,478.

India remains the top source market with 11,670 tourists. Russia accounted for 10,593 of the total tourists, followed by the UK with 6,388, Germany with 5,682, and France with 4,306.
