One time hidden ‘Kaluwala’ situated in Paleegala, a village nearly four kilometers off Eheliyagoda town has become an attraction for holiday makers as well as residents of Eheliyagoda town. This attractive medium-sized waterfall is situated in a very calm and cool atmosphere where many wild flowers and rare birds can be seen.

There is a naturally formed oval shaped pool of water below the waterfall which is an ideal spot for safe bathing.

This waterfall supplies water to hundreds of paddy fields in Paleegala village. A village farmer told the Daily News that some mischief makers pollute the environment by scattering polythene bags, empty lunch containers, biscuit wrappers, beer cans and empty bottles etc.
