Malaika Arora Shares Food Diaries From Sri Lanka & We Are Drooling!

Malaika Arora is undoubtedly one of the fittest actors in the B-Town. We often see her getting papped while going to the gym or visiting the yoga classes. In between all her fitness regimes, she makes sure to enjoy her cheat meals and relish the yummiest delicacies. Right now, the actor is in Sri Lanka for some professional commitments. Her work trip to the country includes yummy culinary adventures.

The actor was on the judging panel of the Grand Finale of Mrs India INC Season 4 hosted in Colombo. And during this stay, she made sure to devour some lip-smacking dishes there. She often shares about her foodie experiences with her fans and followers on social media and she did the same this time as well. Malaika enjoyed some delicious hoppers at the Palmyrah Restaurant in Colombo. She uploaded a picture of the scrumptious hoppers captioning “When in Sri Lanka hoppers are a must”. So the next time you are travelling to this country, make sure to try this pancake topped with a poached egg.

Hoppers are shaped like bowls and are prepared primarily with rice flour. coconut milk, yeast, and eggs. This is a quintessential delicacy of Sri Lanka cuisine and definitely a must-try. Her culinary experiences also included some authentic crab curry at the same restaurant. Chef Divesh Aswani has recommended this dish to Malaika.

We got to know from her Instagram stories that a mouth-watering thali was a part of her indulgences in Sri Lanka. Sharing a photo of an appetising thali, she wrote “N my love for Thalis continue. .” She enjoyed this grand thali loaded with lots of yummy food items at the Cinnamon Grand Colombo. The thali included a delectable dosa, a few chutneys, sambar, and some more assortments.
