An air conditioned Super Luxury Inter City Train between Colombo and Kandy will be added to the service from today (03), starting from Kandy at 5.50 am, the Railway transport superintendent L.A.R Rathnayake said.
The service of super luxury train imported from China will be available on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in every week. The train will stop at Peradeniya, Gampaha, Ragama and Maradana stations on its journey to Colombo.
A single journey ticket costs 500 rupees and seats can be reserved in advance.
