Silkair, the regional wing of Singapore Airlines (SIA), will be increasing flight frequency to Singapore to meet growing travel demand.
Effective March 27th 2018, Silkair will operate four flights per week from Colombo, while SIA will continue to operate its daily night flight SQ468 and return flight SQ469.
On Thursdays MI428, will depart from Singapore at 07:30 local time will arrive in Colombo at 09:15 and MI427 will depart from Colombo at 10:30 and will arrive Singapore at 17:10 while MI428 will depart from Singapore at 08:50 and will arrive Colombo at 10:05 and MI427 will depart from Colombo 11:05 and will arrive Singapore at 17:30 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The services will be operated with B 738 aircraft, featuring both Business Class and Economy Class cabins.
Customers will be provided with a full-service experience, including in-flight meals, in-flight entertainment on Silkair studio, baggage allowance of 40 kilograms and 30 kilograms for Business Class and Economy Class respectively, as well as through check-in if they are connecting to or from another Silkair or SIA point via Singapore. Silkair provides excellent connecting flight options as it flies to 52 destinations across 14 countries in the world.
