Jazeera Airlines hosts special Iftar gathering to celebrate Ramadan

 Jazeera Airlines, General Sales Agent of Aitken Spence Travels organized a special Iftar gathering at the Courtyard by Marriott in Colombo recently. The event was attended by over 130 local travel agents and diplomats from the Kuwait Embassy, who joined the Jazeera team led by Romana Parvi, Regional Manager – South Asia, to break their fast and celebrate the spirit of Ramadan. The guests were treated to a delectable spread of traditional Sri Lankan dishes and Arabic delicacies.

The gathering served as a platform for people from diverse cultures and backgrounds to come together and celebrate the values of compassion and generosity. Additionally, the event presented an opportunity for the airline to connect with its travel industry partners, strengthen ties, and foster a sense of unity and solidarity.

Jazeera Airways operates flights to 62 destinations across the Middle East, Central and South Asia, Africa, and Europe, and boasts of an employee base of over 1,200 employees hailing from 68 different nationalities. The airline is committed to promoting diversity, inclusion, and gender parity.

Furthermore, the airline is anticipating the handling of around 20% of Hajj passengers during the 2023 season, which includes an extra flight to Colombo, Sri Lanka.
