Sri Lanka Railways has commenced special train services to facilitate travellers during school vacation.

It said that the special train services on the main line will be operated until 5 January 2019.

Having begun the services yesterday, the special train will leave Colombo to Badulla at 7.30 a.m. It is scheduled to reach Badulla at 5 p.m.

Another special train will leave from Badulla to Colombo Fort at 9.30 a.m. It will reach Colombo Fort at 7.20 p.m.
