A Japanese delegation arrived the island for an exploratory tour of Sri Lanka’s tourism industry has announced that steps will be taken to carry out many promotional programs about the Sri Lankan tourism industry in Japan In the next few months.
The Japanese delegation has indicated their plans when they met Tourism and Lands Minister Harin Fernando recently in Colombo.
Accordingly, the Minister also mentioned that they hope to bring a group of 250 Japanese tourists to Sri Lanka as the first group of this program in July.
The Minister further states that the attitude of a developed and focused country like Japan towards the Sri Lankan tourism industry is a matter of happiness.
