The Sri Lankan Embassy in Brazil made arrangements for the ‘Globo Reporter’, a renowned Brazilian TV show which has a viewership of over 30 million, to make a documentary on Sri Lanka Tourism. The documentary will be telecast on Globo TV, the largest TV network in the Latin America region.
Accordingly, a four member TV crew arrived in Sri Lanka recently and will continue to film the documentary until the end of this month.
Prior to the visit, discussions between the Chief Producer of ‘Globo Reporter’ Francesca Terranova and the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Brazil Sumith Dassanayake were held at the Sri Lankan Embassy, in order to facilitate the visit of the media delegation.
