According to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, 83,309 tourists have arrived Sri Lanka during the month of May, pushing the year-to-date figure to 524,486.
India remains the top source market with 23,016 tourists. Russia accounted for 7,760 of the total tourists, followed by the Germany with 6,854, UK with 5,987, and Australia with 4,201.
