The Regent Country Club opened for business at Malabe, Isurupura recently.
The Regent Country Club is the brainchild of Managing Director Shehan Gomez.It is situated in Malabe and promises an array of facilities for the corporates and individual alike.The hotel spans over 10 acres and Access has spent over Rs 400 million.
“When life overwhelms us we seek refuge to calm the mind, body and soul, the place one calls refuge must reflect a sense of calm us well as promote rejuvenation of the senses,”Gomez said.
It is this philosophy that the Regent Country Club came into being, to serve as an escape from the hustle and bustle of reality and city life, a serious rat race which they all take part in.
The primary purpose is to serve as a prestigious venue for meetings, conferences, corporate functions, religious seminars, family outings, birthday parties, children’s parties and garden parties.
Regent Country Club has a banquet hall for 150 persons, two meeting rooms with seating for 50 persons each a large swimming pool, pool bar, restaurant, children’s pool, fully equipped gymnasium, children’s play area with play hut and children’s “pressure step” water feature and facilities managed by Azmaara.
It also has fully furnished luxury bedrooms overlooking the pool and garden with all amenities.
Customers can use the basket ball and badminton courts, table tennis chess, draughts, carrom or entertaining “foosball”.
Regent Country Club Director Shehan Gomez said they hope to open several hotels islandwide expanding their footprint in the hospitality sector.
